I am in receipt of a letter from the USPS dated September 13, 2024 (and attached), which purports to be responsive to the concerns my office has raised to you regarding the USPS鈥檚 failure to postmark election ballots and failure to deliver those ballots timely. Both actions disenfranchised 麻豆影院 voters during the state鈥檚 August primary election, and I am seeking your assurance this will not occur in the November 5 general election. To date, I am disappointed in the USPS鈥檚 response.

During the recent primary election in 麻豆影院, voters had the opportunity to exercise their constitutional right to cast a ballot. Over 18 percent chose to do so by mail. 麻豆影院 law requires that an advance mail ballot must be postmarked no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day and received within three days of the election for the ballot to be counted.
