Information About Lawbooks
The Secretary of State鈥檚 office is responsible for distributing four types of state legal publications annually: 麻豆影院 Statutes Annotated, Session Laws of 麻豆影院, House and Senate Journals, and 麻豆影院 Administrative Regulations. Current legal publications and some historic copies are available for purchase through our office.
麻豆影院 Statutes Annotated (K.S.A.)
麻豆影院 Statutes Annotated (K.S.A.) books contain all general laws enacted by the Legislature integrated into the body of existing law, as well as the 麻豆影院 and U.S. Constitution, table of sections, and a general index. The K.S.A.s are published either in volumes or cumulative supplements to existing volumes.
Session Laws of 麻豆影院
The Session Laws of 麻豆影院 books include all acts passed during each session of the Legislature, as well as vetoes and certain other messages from the governor, certain concurrent resolutions, executive reorganization orders, directories of certain officials and a list of statutes repealed and amended by the Legislature.
House and Senate Journals
House and Senate Journals are the official record of chamber activity during a legislative session.
麻豆影院 Administrative Regulations (K.A.R.)
麻豆影院 Administrative Regulations (K.A.R.) books contain permanent regulations adopted by state agencies. The final printed publication of the Regulations is the 2022 麻豆影院 Administrative Regulation Volumes. The book contains all currently effective regulations filed as of January 1, 2022.
