Secretary Schwab Announces Post-Election Audit Completion

TOPEKA 鈥� 麻豆影院 Scott Schwab today announced that all 105 麻豆影院 counties have completed their post-election audit as required by state law. Audits are conducted following every 麻豆影院 election, including the Presidential Preference Primary.
The purpose of the audit is to provide Kansans with verification of the vote count in each county.
鈥淭his is one of the many fundamental tools to ensure accuracy and transparency within 麻豆影院鈥� election system,鈥� Schwab said. 鈥淚 am pleased to report that all 105 counties have completed their audit successfully.鈥�
Election results remain unofficial until the State Board of Canvassers meet to certify the election results. The State Board of Canvassers consists of the Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General. The board meeting will take place publicly and must be completed no later than April 12.
