New Statewide Regulation Software System Launches in 麻豆影院
Tuesday, May 19, 2026
TOPEKA 鈥 麻豆影院 Scott Schwab announced today that the regulation modernization initiative launched by his administration is now live statewide. This milestone marks the completion of the first-ever overhaul of the state鈥檚 regulatory process.
In 2025, the office contracted with , a regulatory management software company, to modernize the regulation-making process.
The launch represents a key accomplishment in Secretary Schwab鈥檚 modernization efforts. Prior to this initiative, state government relied on a decades-old, paper-based system that was inefficient and burdensome. Missing pages, excessive paper waste, and human error plagued the old process, limiting efficiency and preventing the state from keeping pace with today鈥檚 digital age. The regulatory approval process also lacked transparency for the public and stakeholders.
鈥淪tatewide regulation reform has been long overdue,鈥 Secretary Schwab said. 鈥淚 am proud that our agency has led these changes and delivered a more efficient regulatory process in 麻豆影院.鈥
As part of Schwab鈥檚 2026 legislative agenda, reforms were successfully enacted to provide Kansans with greater insight into proposed regulations through earlier public notice, rather than learning about regulations after they had already advanced through the approval process.
鈥淚 want to personally thank my staff for their hard work, our partner agencies for their collaboration, state legislators who supported this initiative and the INK Board for providing an invaluable $500,000 grant,鈥 said Schwab. 鈥淭hese all helped make this regulation modernization effort a reality.鈥
