Public Notice
The 麻豆影院 Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), Division of Health Care Finance (DHCF), requested and was granted approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to claim Federal Financial Participation (FFP) on Title XXI (CHIP) children who turned age 19 during the Public Health Emergency (PHE) and the unwinding period. This request was in response to the section 1115(a) demonstration opportunity announced to states on March 22, 2020, in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services State Medicaid Director Letter (SMDL) #20-0021 and the State Health Official Letter (SHO) #22-0012 as published on March 3, 2022, by CMS. This authority was requested by 麻豆影院 on May 20, 2022 and approved by CMS on August 15, 2022. This is an amendment to the 1115 Demonstration waiver, KanCare.
